1.What is Porcelain?
A: Porcelain is very high temp feldspatic body , fired at 1400 degrees ( made from 50% Kaolin/china clay, 25% feldspar & 25% quartz) It is 100% vitrified & non-porous body. It is the best form of crockery for hotel & catering usage .
2.Definition of vitrification.
A: Vitrification is a process whereby, when ware is fired at very high temperature, one of the constituents of clay, Silica is changed into glassy substance which bonds all other constituents together. Vitrification can occur at only above 1300 degrees temp.
3.How does vitrification make the product superior?
A: Vitrified ( Non-porous) high temp body is more strong, more durable , 100% hygienically safe thus making Stallion Porcelain superior to other products.
4.What is the main component of bonechina? What is the difference in Stallion Porcelain & Indian bonechina ?
A: Upto 40% of animal bone-ash. ( Indian bonechina is fired @1150-1200 degrees, is not fully vitrified, usually absorbs moisture quickly & hence not so durable, chips/breaks easily. It also develops cutlery scratch marks easily because of the soft glaze)
5.What is firing temp of Stallion Porcelain?
A: Stallion Porcelain body is fired at 1350-1400 degrees .
6.What makes Stallion Porcelain strong?
A: High temp vitrified body makes Stallion porcelain very strong & ideal for hotel use. The hard glaze gives it strong scratch resistant properties. The chip-resistent rolled edges on plates/ flatwares minimizes the chipping/ breakages hugely benefiting the hotel buyers.
7.What should be done to minimize /reduce chipping?

8.What will be the life of Stallion porcelain?
A: Long life is guaranteed even in the rough & tough usage conditions of hotel/ restaurant & catering industry. Usually Stallion porcelain will last at least double the life of any Indian bonechina products or any other average porcelain.

11.How much time you need to develop a design on a sample?
A: We will be glad to develop any designs for you against your order confirmation, which usually take 10-15 days.
12.Can you develop special shapes for us? (elaborate)
A. Yes, we specialize in high quality development of any shape/ size/ pattern . This usually takes about 30 days as we need to open the moulds. The development cost can vary depending on the product shape/ size.
13.Can you deliver ex-stock? Ready delivery?
A: Yes, for plainwhite without decoration, ex-stock ! And for customized order with your decoration, we take about 3-4 weeks from date of confirmation of order. And we are very serious about our commitments. We are the only company in India who can deliver Porcelain Chinaware ex-stock !

15.Will we get replacements of breakages in transit ?
A: Goods are fully insured. Yes, damages worth more than Rs. 1,000/- can be claimed & replacements are given to you in 10 days.
16.What is the min quantity you supply in plain whites?
A: Any quantity you need. Even a dozen pcs is OK. That is the advantage of dealing with Stallion !
17.What is the minimum quantity required for customizing of designs?
A: Usually 1000 pcs ( assorted) or order value of min 2 lacs of Indian Rupee is OK.
18.How do you compare with China & Europe ?
A: Stallion Porcelain is transluscent, lighter, far superior as compared to any Chinese Porcelain. Qualitywise we are much better than Chinese products. Our pricing is very aggressive, customer friendly, availability is Ex-stock, service is great ! 19.Why should we not directly import from China?
A: Think about the cost ! Quality !! Huge inventory you must import , blocking so much of your business money. Also think about the future replacements, small quantity imports & you will realize it is really not a wise decision …..
20.Will you offer credit? What is your payment policy?
A. We work on 50% advance with confirmed order & balance against proforma before dispatch/shipment. Our company policy does not allow us to work on open credit.
21.Is Stallion holloware dishwasher safe?
A: Yes, Stallion Porcelain is 100% dishwasher safe.
22.Is your ware microwave oven safe?
A: Yes, Stallion Porcelain is 100% microwave oven safe.
23..Do you make lead free products?
A: Yes, we make porcelain which is 100% lead free. All our wares are manufactured as per certified/ permissible standrards of Europe/ USA/UK.
24. Is it possible to reduce the weight of Stallion porcelain wares?
A: Stallion porcelain is the lightest porcelain available in India. Usually European & Chinese Porcelain is very heavy & hence not suitable for Indian usage. Feel the Stallion porcelain & you will see the difference !
25. Explain how do you supply under EPCG scheme?
( EPCG scheme is the special facility by Government of India to hotel industry where foreign exchange earning hotels/ restaurants are allowed to import specified categories of products by paying only 0% to 5% customs duty. This requires the importing hotel to give certain bank guarantees & fulfill their export earnings commitments in future, failing which they will have to pay back the duty concession amounts with interest & penalties)
A : Yes, our exporting company in Hongkong can supply you the goods. However EPCG supply needs min order value of 25,000 USD/ single shipment & takes about 8 weeks for supply.
26.What is 18/10 in cutlery?
A: This is Chrome to Nickel ratio of steel. (18% chrome with 10% Nickel produces brilliant shine & lustre, corrosion resistant durable flatwares)
